Thank you for your interest in joining the International Society of Counselling and Clinical Supervisors (ISOCCS). It represents a membership of supervisors, supervisor' educators, and anyone who contributes in some way to the supervision field.

 

Membership gives you access to: monthly opportunities for networking, conferences and seminars, professional development workshops, education and training, research bulletin, newsletters, website, email interchange to facilitate communication between supervisors, and much more.

 

The primary aims and functions of the International Society of Counselling and Clinical Supervisors are: -

  • To provide a national and international voice for the supervision field.

  • To provide a consistent Code of Ethics and Standards for supervisors nationally and internationally.

  • To establish a national and international complaints tribunal.

  • To assess, review and approve counsellor training and education courses in supervision.

  • To maintain a national and international register of practicing supervisors.

 

The association and your involvement with it, play a crucial role in:

  • Advocating and advancing the supervision profession as a distinct intervention, nationally and internationally.

  • Providing a national and international voice for the supervision field.

  • Providing a Code of Ethics and Standards for supervisors nationally and internationally.

  • Establish a national and international complaints tribunal.

  • Assessing, reviewing and approving education and training in supervision at AQF, non-AQF, and international levels in supervision.

  • To maintain a national and international register of practicing supervisors.
